The Red Sox are back in October. So I brought back a song — with a new roster and a little more fuego.

The postseason is here.
The Red Sox open against the Yankees, but I wanted this song to be about something bigger than one series. If Boston keeps winning, I want to keep playing it.
I originally wrote “Vamos Boston” last year for the Wild Card run. This year, I went back to the same music and the same bilingual heartbeat and updated it for the 2026 Red Sox.
There was another reason I wanted to keep the Spanish flavor at the center of the song.
Baseball has an enormous Latino presence, including on this Red Sox team, yet that part of the game can sometimes feel strangely absent from the way teams are promoted to the broader fan base.
So this one has fuego, familia, corazón — and Boston.
Same city.
New roster.
Another October.

That last line in the third verse is the one I’m hanging onto:
October we’ll be playing on.
Maybe that’s prediction, maybe hope, maybe just what being a baseball fan requires this time of year.
The regular season tells you who you are.
October asks what you can become.
And for Boston, it starts again now.
